Celebration Jamaica and Harmony Cove to Break Ground on Casino Resorts by Summer
Construction work on what would be Jamaica’s first integrated casino resort is anticipated to begin in 2016, regional media reported. Celebration Jamaica Resort & Casino will feature 2,000 resort rooms, a casino, and a wide range of entertainment and food and beverage choices.
The complex will occupy a 75-acre parcel of land located in Rose Hill, within the Montego Bay Area. The project will be rolled away in a number of stages. The amount of $500 million is anticipated to be spent on the conclusion of Phase 1.
At first, the resort shall provide 1,000 hotel rooms, with 1,000 more to be added afterwards. So that as stated earlier, it will also feature a 100,000-square-foot gambling place with casino games and sports gambling options, retail room, a Caribbean World Music Entertainment involved, and a number of other amenities.
Businessman Robert Trotta, that is behind the multi-million-dollar task, explained that the built-in resort will aim at celebrating Jamaican music and every thing Jamaican.
