OTTAWA — the very first day of college for many pupils in Ottawa’s French catholic college board changed.

In an email to families delivered Friday, the Conseil des ecoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE) claims if your kid comes back to course depends on their college, and grade and whether or not they’re in course or learning on line.

Pupils in Kindergarten to level 8, that time for in-person classes, will start college on Sept. 3.

Pupils in Grades 9 to 12 will come back to face-to-face classes on Sept. 8, with the exception of those in the following schools:

  • Ecole Ange-Gabriel (Brockville)
  • Ecole Marie-Rivier (Kingston)
  • Academie Notre-Dame (Kemptville)
  • Centre scolaire Jeanne-Lajoie (Pembroke)

Level 9-12 students within these schools will go back to course on Sept. 3.

Two CECCE schools, Bernard-Grandmaitre and Jonathan-Pitre, started classes on Aug. 19. Read more »
